A year to the day after a helicopter in which he was travelling crashlanded in Kabba, Kogi State, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday described his survival in the accident as “a miraculous and divine deliverance.”
Mr Osinbajo escaped death as his helicopter crashlanded in Kogi state, his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, had announced in a tweet on February 2, last year.
“VP Osinbajo’s Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State,” Mr Akande said in the tweet.
It was the second time Mr Osinbajo’s helicopter would crash-land.
In June 2017, he survived a similar accident when the chopper he was travelling in crash-landed shortly after take off in Gwagawalada, Abuja.
