According to The Athletic claimed that West Ham are looking to sign a goalkeeper, a midfielder and a striker in January with London the giant identify Akpom to help lift Manuel Pellegrini’s side that still occupies 13th place in the Premier League as Hammars still keen to add some firepower up front following poor forms of summer signings Sebastien Haller and Albian Ajeti.French outfit Reims also hold an interest in the player, while Bundesliga side Cologne, Celtic, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Fiorentina, Werder Bremen, OGC Nice and Rennes are all said to be considering a move but the striker is said to prefer a return to England.Akpom helped PAOK to lift the Super League and Greek Football Cup in their first time in 34 years after going undefeated in the domestic competition last season but the Nigerian descent started just three league outings this term though, scoring twice, and looks set on rejecting a new contract with a departure on his mind.
