Two teenagers were Thursday arraigned before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly threatening to stab a neighbour for reprimanding them against hemp smoking.
The defendants, Yusuf Olaiya and Rasak Alade, both aged 18, were charged alongside one Isiaka Olarinde, 30, on a two-count charge bordering on obstruction of police duty and conspiracy before Chief Magistrate A. A. Fashola.
The Prosecutor, Sgt. Michael Unah, told the court that the incident happened on November 14 at 3.00p.m. on Matthew Street, off AIT Road, Alagbado, Lagos State.
Sgt. Unah told the court that the defendants threatened to stab one Mr Gbenga Oloyede with broken bottles for cautioning them against smoking substance suspected to be Indian hemp in their compound. He said this led to a…
