Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank has asked lovers of democracy across the globe to prevail on President Muhammadu Buhari to leave all political prisoners still in detention.
Reacting to the release of former National Security Adviser,Col. Sambo Dasuki and Omoyele Sowore, Frank said commended Nigerians especially a human right lawyer, Femi Falana for standing up to fight for justice even in the mist of treat to their lives.
He also commended the United States Government for prevailing on the Nigerian government to do the needful, saying if not for the pressure by the USA government and some of its senators, Sowore would still be languishing in DSS detention without charge.
Frank however asked Buhari government to apologise to the duo for violating their rights.
