Iheanacho opened the scoring for the Foxes and, while Pablo Fornals levelled it, Demarai Gray struck later on to end 2019 with a win and keep the Foxes second in the Premier League.
Despite Brendan Rodgers making nine changes for the clash with the Hammers, Leicester’s identity remained intact and Iheanacho says that comes down to their collective commitment to the cause.
“It was good and it was tough, so we’re happy we got the three points and we’re second in the league now, so we’re happy,” the Nigeria international striker told LCFC TV.
