Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has assured the University of Jos that his administration will secure the institution’s land encroached upon by some individuals, warning that anyone “found culpable will be made to account for their actions”.
He also assured the University that the State Government in collaboration with the University authority and security operatives were working to tackle “cultism and other criminal activities within and around the campus areas”.
Lalong disclosed this while speaking at the 31st and 32nd Convocation of the University, in Jos, the State capital.
