Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State yesterday swore-in Justice Mu’azu Abdulkadir Pindiga as the new acting chief judge of the state.
He said Justice Pindiga’s appointment followed the expiration of Justice Beatrice Iliya’s three months tenure as acting Chief Judge of the state High Court, an office she occupied from September 3 to December 3 2019.
Governor Yahaya added that Justice Pindiga’s appointment as the acting chief judge was based on merit and also being the next most senior judge in the state.
While congratulating him, the governor described Pindiga as a respectable judge, worthy of the position and urged him to create harmonious working relation between the three arms of government for the development of the state.
He therefore urged him to carry everyone along in undertaking his duty.
