Leisure centres in Ibadan, Oyo State, including the popular Agodi Gardens and Shoprite, were beehive of activities as many fun seekers yesterday thronged the venues in celebration of Christmas.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that there were crowd at many of the fun spots in Ibadan metropolis.
At the Agodi Gardens, there was a large number of people at the entrance in spite of the N500 entrance fee.
Also at Shoprite, many parents brought a good number of their children in spite of the N300 and N500 gate fee paid by the children to access the playing ground.
A mother and trader, Mrs. Adebukola Adeleke, who brought five children, said she celebrated Jesus, the reason for the season and God for the grace of being alive to witness another Christmas season.
Adeleke said this year’s celebration was better than the other years.
