The Federal Government on Tuesday received 200 ventilators promised by the United States to support Nigeria’s fight against COVID-19.
The ventilators were received by the Ministry of Health from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Abuja.
In his remark, the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, said: “We shall use the ventilators to shore up our Intensive Care response capability, courtesy of President Donald Trump, and people of the United States of America.
“These 200 ventilators, which, as we all know by now, are a critical component of the response strategy to save the lives of persons who have been severely impacted by this viral infection.
