Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has criticized manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, for his substitutions following the club’s UEFA Champions League 2-1 defeat to Young Boys on Tuesday.
Young Boys defeated Man United following second-half goals from Moumi Ngamaleu and Theoson Siebatcheu as Cristiano Ronaldo’s first-half goal was not enough.
Solskjaer had subbed off Jadon Sancho when Aaron Wan-Bissaka was dismissed and Donny van de Beek at half-time before bringing off Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes with 20 minutes remaining.
But Scholes felt Solskjaer’ missed a trick’ with his substitutions, even though he insists Man United’s defeat was ‘not a complete disaster.’
